DOLAZONE values your privacy and is dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when using our application, visiting our website or communicating electronically with us.

This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms & Conditions explains what happens to the types of personal and non-personal information we collect when you use the DOLAZONE application and website (DOLAZONE.com). By using DOLAZONE you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms please do not continue using DOLAZONE.

DOLAZONE uses the personal information we collect to provide our service to you. We will not rent, sell or share your personal information with any other company for its own marketing purposes without your consent except where mentioned within this policy.

What Personal Information Does DOLAZONE Collect?

• Personal Information You Provide to Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Services or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, birthday, Twitter and/or Facebook usernames, location, use information regarding your use of our Services, and browser information. We automatically receive your location when you use the Services. We use various technologies to determine location, such as location services of the applicable operating system or browser and sensor data from your device that may, for example, provide information on nearby Wi-Fi- access points and cell towers. The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as allowing you to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through the Services, improving the content of the Services, customizing the advertising and content you and your friends see (including DOLAZONE or third-party advertising or content), and communicating with you about specials and new features. For example, location information we receive in connection with your use of one of our apps may be used to customize the content you and your friends see in another of our apps. We may also draw upon this Personal Information in order to adapt the Services of our community to your needs, to research the effectiveness of our network and Services, and to develop new tools for the community.
• Information Collected Automatically: When you use the Services, DOLAZONE automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser or mobile platform, including your location, IP address, browser type, operating information, mobile carrier, device and application IDs, cookie information, and the page you requested. We treat this data as non-Personal Information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, DOLAZONE only uses this data in aggregate form. We may provide aggregate information to our partners about how our users, collectively, use our Services, so that our partners may also understand how often people use their services and our Services.
• Information We Receive from Third Parties: We receive and store information from third parties that interact in some way with the Services or that provide services to us in connection with the Services. In addition, you may choose to use apps that share your Personal Information, activities and/or content with DOLAZONE. Please read the privacy policy of any such app so that you understand its sharing practices.

In order to deliver you the best possible service when using DOLAZONE, we collect and process the following information:

Information you provide us

When you download DOLAZONE and use it for the first time, we take you through the few steps of how to use the DOLAZONE Application. We ask permission to Access your Location so as to be able to deliver the deals/events and places based on your location, if you do not give us permission DOLAZONE will not be able to function as it is built through the use of GPS found in mobile phone and our application uses Technology that does not drain your battery severely, we ask that you give us permission to send you push notifications that will be in the form of alerts, banner and sound and this is to be able to send you notifications of interesting deals that are around your location or to send you an announcement, we also ask you permission to activate your Bluetooth at some instances and this is to also be able to give you alerts when you’re at Malls etc where there might be deals & specials that you might be interested in. we ask you to register and provide us with personal information as follows : Your name, email address, date of birth, postcode and gender.

Usage of information

As part of the standard operation of using DOLAZONE, we may collect certain non- personal information from you. For example, when you redeem a voucher, your mobile phone automatically records and sends basic information about your voucher redemption and application browsing. This may include the dates and times and redemption information. We may combine this non-personal information with your personal information.

How is My Information Shared?

Personal Information about our users is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information to anyone, though, as described more fully in this section below (under "Publicly Available Information and Apps"), your publicly-available information is available to third parties, and we may provide it to third parties, by license or otherwise.

DOLAZONE may share your Personal Information only as described in this Privacy Policy and related documents.

• Businesses, Locations, Events and Brands: One of the key purposes of the Services is to help users learn about businesses, locations, events and brands (for example, a TV show, a TV personality, newspaper or a consumer good that manages a page on the Service) that are relevant to them, and for these entities to provide information about themselves, their locations and events to users, as well as to reward users when they visit their location or event through offers and specials. When you visit to a particular location that is a ‘claimed location’ your visits are shared with that location in order for it to better provide services to you. Additionally, brands may have access to aggregated and anonymous data, such as de-identified data about places that its followers visit (that is, not tied to individual users).

Determining and Sharing Location

Mobile phone location

When you use DOLAZONE, we may receive your location and will use this to give you offers which are near you. Depending on your handset or the network you subscribe to, DOLAZONE may automatically receive this information.
Determining your location - The Services deal with location, so in order to work, the Services need to know your location. Whenever you open and use/interact with our apps on your mobile device or go to one of our Sites, we use the location information from your mobile device or browser (e.g., latitude and longitude) to tailor the Services experience to your current location (i.e., we’ll show you a list of nearby locations, and tips). This information is NOT shared with others. Also, the Services use your mobile device’s ‘background location’ to provide the Services, including to send you notifications of tips/interesting things etc. near you. If you have ‘background location’ turned on, the DOLAZONE app will, from time to time, tell us about your device’s location even if you are not directly interacting with the application.
Sharing Location with the DOLAZONE app (version 1.0.0 and later) - Your real-time location is not shared on the DOLAZONE app. If you share a deal/event/place/article or anything on DOLAZONE with any apps listed on DOLAZONE sharing, some of these apps might ask for your location, like or otherwise interact with a place, users may infer that you have been to that location. Some content, like sharing, other users could use that information to infer when you were at a place even though sharing can be posted when you aren’t at the place you are sharing a deal for.
Services Features
The Services include several features that may allow you to share your information with others. Please remember that if you choose to provide personal information using certain features of the Services, that information may be available to the wider Services community, or may be published on our Sites, which is subject to indexing by third party search engines.
Sharing with Partners, in connection with business transfers, and for the protection of DOLAZONE and others:

• Our Partners: In addition to the data sharing described above, we enter into relationships with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. In certain situations, these businesses, provide services to you, sell items or provide promotions to you through the Services. In other situations, DOLAZONE provides services, or sells items jointly with these businesses. You can easily recognize when one of these businesses is associated with your transaction, and we will share your Personal Information that is related to such transactions with that business.
• Business Transfers: If DOLAZONE or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that DOLAZONE goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.

We and our agents use technologies like cookies, pixels, and local storage (like on your browser or device, which is similar to a cookie but holds more information) and identifiers (including identifiers supplied by your browser or device or by app platform companies) on our website, in our emails, and within our apps to provide you with a range of products and services. We may work with advertisers or other partners and advertising service providers to serve ads or services to computers, mobile phones or other devices, which may use a cookie, pixel or other similar technology placed by DOLAZONE or the third party (although we would not share any other information that identifies you with an advertiser). This Privacy Policy and DOLAZONE's Cookie Policy covers the use of cookies by DOLAZONE and its service providers and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. Also, certain versions of the iOS operating system permit you to limit ad tracking in the system settings. Additionally, you can opt-out of DOLAZONE serving behaviorally targeted ads outside of DOLAZONE's apps and websites in your account settings.

Mobile UDID

When you use the DOLAZONE application for the first time, we will receive a unique identifier for your phone if your handset manufacturer or network provide it. DOLAZONE may use your unique mobile device identification information to offer you extended services and/or functionality. We may associate that information to the mobile device identification information and to other information we have collected from and about you; however we will not use that number to telemarket to you.

Directly communicating with DOLAZONE

When you send email or other communication to DOLAZONE, we may retain the communication in order to serve you.

Information you provide on our partners' websites

You mind find links to third party websites on our website. These websites should have their own privacy policies which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.

Merchant loyalty information

DOLAZONE may collect and save various merchants' Loyalty Card numbers for you. These numbers may be stored on the DOLAZONE servers and will be transmitted between the DOLAZONE servers and your device.

Use of Information and Data

All personal data is stored securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Unless we are legally required to do so, your data will not be disclosed to third parties. Where applicable, we may disclose your personal information to any member of our group. This includes, where applicable, our affiliates, our subsidiaries, our holding company and / or other companies within our group.

Emails

Once you become a DOLAZONE member we’ll send you email newsletters letting you know about our offers and deals. We may also send you other offers from our partners that we think you might be interested in. We’ll never share your details with a third party, and you can manage all your email subscriptions by login into your DOLAZONE account and editing your email preferences, or unsubscribing via the link at the bottom of the email.

Unsubscribe

Users who do not wish to receive our promotional e-mail messages may click the ‘unsubscribe’ link which will be found at the bottom of each e-mail from DOLAZONE. You will be sent to an ‘update your preferences’ page in your account where you can opt out of different types of promotional e-mails, or click unsubscribe from all.

Push notifications

By downloading the DOLAZONE app you are opting into receive push notifications to your device via the application. These will be general notifications about our latest offers and location based messages when you are near a venue or shop with an offer. Both types of notification can be controlled in the settings section of the app.

Use of Cookies

We may on occasion gather information regarding your computer whilst you are on our website. This enables us to improve our services and to provide statistical information regarding the use of our website to our advertisers where appropriate. We may also use the information we collect from you to show you relevant adverts when you are visiting other sites.
Such information will not identify you personally it is statistical data about our visitors and their use of our site. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever. Similarly to the above, we may gather information about your general internet use by using a cookie file. Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer automatically. This cookie file is stored on the hard drive of your computer as cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our website and the service that we provide to you.
